Founders
Sandeep Sachdeva
Sandeep Sachdeva is an international banker who, after leading large global banking businesses in three continents, retired in his mid-40s to pursue his personal interests. He has since co-founded Safe in India Foundation, his chief passion, and is its current CEO. He is also an active board-member of a number of large social enterprises in the UK and Europe, which he has helped restructure and turn-around/grow. Sandeep is a graduate of IIT Roorkee and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad
Ravi Gulati
Ravi Gulati co-founded Manzil – a youth-led non-profit providing a space & learning resources for low-income children & youth. He also facilitates Delhi Government school principals’ leadership learning with SCERT, & enthusiastically mentors many other youth initiatives addressing a diversity of social issues. Not only is all his work pro-bono, but he also contributes financially from his own resources to Manzil and these youth initiatives. He also serves on the Boards of a few NGOs like Pravah that focus on youth learning and leadership. Ravi is a graduate of SRCC and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad
Prabhat Agarwal
Prabhat Agarwal is founder and coach at Aravali Scholars wherein deserving students from low-income neighborhoods are mentored and provided academic resources to achieve their potential. Prabhat personally mentors these students in the two centers at Bijwasan, Delhi and Sikanderpur, Gurgaon in India. Prabhat also is a mentor and/or investor in several start-ups, most of which are in the social enterprise space. Prabhat is a graduate of IIT Delhi and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad

National Head - Worker Assistance Center
Masab leads the Safe-In-India Worker Support Centre in Manesar, to deliver our services. He is supported by a growing team that reaches out to these workers to assist them in obtaining better health-care and compensation from ESIC. He has more than three years of professional experience in Welfare and Development areas and is a graduate of Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.
Ms V.N. Saroja
Head- Senior Advisor - Advocacy, Worker Safety and ESIC Initiative
Her goal is to improve worker safety in the Indian manufacturing sector, especially the auto sector, by persuading government, industry, ESIC and other stakeholders to improve safety standards, service standards and improve overall efficiencies using the data available and research carried out by SII. She was previously the CEO of Indian Agribusiness Systems Limited (Agriwatch) and worked closely with GOI and State Governments and the industry on management of important agricommodities.
Hari Varma Datla
Head - HR & Finance
A senior Management professional having over four decades of experience in leadership roles, initially as a Special Forces Officer in the Indian Army for 22 years and subsequently in the Corporate Sector Logistics, ITES, Manufacturing, and Hospitality Sectors. He is also a Certified Life Coach.
Pavan Chandra
Sr. Advisor, Communication
He has been a practicing media communication professional for over 27 years. His primary expertise is the development of communication plans for various brands - along with those for social change. This journey has taken him across various parts of india, Jordan, Palestine, Yemen, Singapore and Taiwan. He is currently based in india and work on marketing, media and social development projects as an independent associate.
Ajay Kumar Chhokra
Senior Advisor
Ajay Kumar Chhokra is an accomplished leader with over 35 years of experience in prominent US multinational companies like Optum, Adobe, and HP. With a proven track record in both Services and Product organizations across diverse verticals, Ajay has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and achieved remarkable results. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Safe-In-India, Ajay focuses on optimizing operations, devising innovative IT strategies, and fostering partnerships with other NGOs. He holds a graduate from Delhi College of Engineering and a Master's from IIT, Delhi.
Dhanraj B
Senior Manager, Advocacy
Dhanraj works on developing SII’s Safety and ESI indices and SII’s annual reports. He has eight years of work and consulting experience across corporates and non-profits and has a postgraduate degree from IIM Ahmedabad and an undergraduate degree in engineering. Interests include quizzing, public policy, politics, and history.

Manjeet Chaudhary
Faridabad Center Head
Manjeet Chaudhary is the Deputy Branch Manager with a Master's degree in Social Work and over 11 years of experience in the social sector. He has a diverse background, having worked on HIV/AIDS, TB, and maternal and child health during his tenure with organizations such as the Red Cross Society, Genesis Media, MAMTA HIMC, and SAATHI. Currently serving as the Deputy Branch Manager at the Faridabad Worker Assistance Centre, he leads the Safe-In-India Worker Support Centre in Faridabad. In his role, Manjeet plays a crucial role in assisting injured workers with EISC benefits and overseeing office administration.
Aditi Lawaniya
Manesar center Head
Aditi is the Center coordinator for safe-in-india Worker support center Manesar. She oversees the office administration and helps injured/ Non injured workers in obtaining ESIC benefits and Welfare development areas. She brings 3 years of experience of the social sector Skill development, Livelihood & health especially for slums. Aditi holds an MBA in Rural Management from IIHMR University & is currently pursuing PhD with the specialization Women Empowerment.
Chandra Sharma
Gurgaon Center Head
Chandra, an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in designing research frameworks, conducting data analysis, and preparing comprehensive reports. As a Project Manager, Chandra excelled in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, to enhance safety standards and awareness among workers and contractors. He has worked with the organizations like Good Weave International, Agricultural Finance Corporation & Datamation.
Jitender Dabla
Field Executive
Jitender Kumar joined us in Jul17 as our second Outreach Executive. He holds a diploma in Computer Application. Before joining Safe In India, he worked in a manufacturing unit for 4 years and is therefore well versed with the working conditions in small factories. In his current role, he reaches out to the Injured workers and assists them with the ESIC health care and claim management process. He likes writing in Hindi about worker issues.
Seema Sharma
Field Executive
Seema Sharma is a Field Executive in Faridabad who started working in 2023. Her main job is to assist both injured and non-injured workers in hospitals, especially focusing on maternity cases. She helps these workers with medical benefits. Seema also has great expertise in supporting HIV-positive pregnant women, ensuring they can keep their babies HIV-negative.
Sujeet Singh
Field Executive
working on the post of Field Executive in Safe in India Foundation. He visits ESI dispensaries, branch offices, worker communities and helps the workers and their families to get the benefits of ESI. Sujeet Singh has worked on the post of Sales Executive in Mumbai for 5 years before the lockdown.
Narottam Singh Rajouriya
Field Executive
Narottam Singh Rajouriya has been associated with SII since 2016 when he sustained an injury in the company. Currently, he holds the position of Field Executive in Faridabad, a role he has been in since July 2021. His prior experience with an incident has enabled him to establish connections with workers effectively. Narottam actively supports the Centre Coordinator and regularly visits ESIC Hospitals, Dispensaries, and branch offices to assist injured workers. He has acquired new computer skills with the support of SII and is concurrently pursuing his graduation3
Mukesh Kumar Tiwari
Field Executive
Mukesh is a field executive in Manesar. He regularly visits ESIC Hospital, Dispensary, Branch Office and helps injured or non-injured workers. He helps in obtaining cash benefits for injured workers and also helps the center coordinator. He joined SII as Office Assistant in March 2021. Work was started in ESIC unemployment scheme [Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana], he helped several hundred unemployed workers with Getting cash benefits. He has a bachelor's degree in Engineering Polymer Technology. He worked in 8 states in India.
Amitesh Kumar Singh
Pune Center Head
Amitesh is the Associate Coordinator for Safe-In-India Worker Support Centre. He oversees the office administration and helps injured workers in obtaining ESIC benefits. He brings with him six years of grassroots experience of the social sector, health, and nutrition, especially for the Scheduled caste and tribes. He has also worked in the “Going to School project“, in rural areas of Bihar. He is a post graduate from Nalanda Open University.
Manmohan Bajpayi
Field Executive
A Field Executive in Manesar, who started working with us in 2024. His main job is to assist both injured and non-injured workers in hospitals, he helps these workers with medical benefits. Manmohan actively supports the Centre Coordinator and regularly visits ESIC Hospitals and dispensaries to assist injured workers. He has great experience in a manufacturing unit for 25 years.
Dinesh Yadav
Field Executive
Dinesh Yadav has been associated with Safe in India Foundation since August-22 and helping workers and their families in Pimpri-Chinchwad area of Pune. Dinesh assists the workers coming for treatment in ESI Hospital - Mohan Nagar-Chinchwad . Dinesh Yadav has 15 years of experience working as a LAB Assistant in ICMR-Pune. Dinesh also has experience of working in the factory. Dinesh liked to help the worker.
Lipika Khatana
Executive - Operations
Lipika Khatana is a professional social worker holding a post-graduate degree in social work from Delhi school of social work. She has worked with Rajasthan state rural livelihood mission and also has a field exposure in the domain of working with women and children for more than two years.
